I am a graduate of the University of Warsaw, Quantitative Finance Master Program and started my career as analyst in banking. Moving forward I was building my competences in Data & Analytics domain working with BI tools and technologies. Not long ago I joined Point72 and became a part of Data Engineering team. What I do is to provide first line support and oversight of internal and external data pipelines within our new cloud-based data platform. Technologies I am working with day-to-day are Python, SQL, AWS and Databricks. I am happy to take part in this initiative and be a mentor for someone who wants to start their career in Data even without initial IT education background. I can share my experience of gradual career advancement from Banking Operations to Data Engineering. I am originally from Belarus, speak Polish, Russian and English. Cat-lover, gym workouts haunter, bookworm.
