Software Engineering Leader

Motorola Solutions

I’m an engineering leader at Motorola Solutions with a background in software development. I graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics, and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland, in 2001 and joined the IT industry. Over the years, I’ve developed observability solutions in the telecom sector and led teams on key projects in areas like Network Management, Dispatch Console Solutions, Broadband Push-to-Talk, and Video Management. My technical acumen and practical application of academic research earned me a Ph.D. from the Institute of Telecommunications at the AGH University of Krakow in 2024. I focus on software engineering, particularly adaptive processes, iterative development, and managing technical debt. Various projects, teams, roles, successes and failures shaped my approach to problem solving and my style of management and leadership. I have managed teams during times of crisis and under tight deadlines, collaborating with diverse stakeholders. I have also led transitions and successfully built teams from the ground up. In my free time, I love reading books and getting outdoors for activities like skiing, sailing, kayaking, cycling, and hiking in the mountains.
